Dr. Bui is a compassionate and highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon with a steadfast commitment to the well-being of her community. She believes in exploring all conservative treatment options before considering surgery, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored approach to their care. Dr. Bui is known for her warm, approachable demeanor and her ability to connect with patients, making them feel heard and valued. She takes the time to educate her patients, helping them understand their conditions and the full range of treatment possibilities, from physical therapy and orthotics to minimally invasive procedures when needed. Her thoughtful approach ensures that each patient feels empowered and confident in their treatment journey.
As the eldest daughter of immigrant parents, she has developed a strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and empathy, shaping her approach to medicine and her dedication to serving others. This background has shaped her deep sense of loyalty, responsibility, and empathy – all values she has woven into the fabric of Howard County Foot & Ankle. Dr. Bui started this small medical practice from scratch and has thoroughly enjoyed treating the diverse patient population we have in Howard County. A proud graduate of Yale University and the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Bui combines top-tier academic training with a genuine passion for improving her patients’ quality of life. She completed her reconstructive surgical residency at the University of Louisville Hospital in Kentucky. Then, she completed a specialized fellowship program at Grant Medical Center in Ohio before moving to Howard County. Now, she is at the helm of Howard County Foot & Ankle and is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, where she staffs inpatient consultations and performs surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bui enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 dogs (Piper, Duke, Winston, and Gus). Yes, she knows 4 dogs is a lot of dogs and she is never allowed to foster puppies again. She and her husband love to travel and would love to hear about where your feet have taken you!
